At the Student Entrepreneurship Expo Activities held by Ahmad Dahlan University (UAD) on July 20-22 2023, the University of Muhammadiyah Malang sent two teams of student entrepreneurship delegations to showcase their business products. The two teams are the "Sherpa Academy" team, which consists of Sayla Salsabila, a student of the Faculty of Psychology and Samsul Huda, a student of the Management study program, Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB). In this event, they showcased their business providing scholarship services for students. The second team is the "Prillis Gallery" which consists of Aprilisfiya Handayani, a student of the FEB Accounting Study Program, Listyarini a student of the English Language Study Program, Faculty of Teaching and Education, and Sausan Chusnia Areldy, a student of the Psychology faculty. The Prillis Gallery team in this event exhibited various kinds of hand-painted products.
Apart from expo activities for student entrepreneurship products, UAD Fair 2023 also held several competitions such as business plan competitions, poster competitions, best stand decorations, etc. The UMM delegation team, namely Sherpa Academy, was coached by a lecturer at the Faculty of Psychology, Ahmad Sulaiman, S.Psi., M.Ed and mentored by a lecturer at FEB Management, Immanuel Mu'ammal, S.E., M.M. was able to win 1st place in the business plan competition and won 2nd place in the poster competition.
It is hoped that the UAD FAIR 2023 event will spur student entrepreneurial activities, especially at UMM and spur their enthusiasm to compete. In addition, this activity is expected to be able to expand the entrepreneurial network for student participants and strengthen UMM friendship ties with UAD and other participating campuses.
